Manopause, another term used to describe Andropause, occurs when a man suffers from a testosterone deficiency. At Royal Men’s Medical Center, we fully understand the nature of this problem. The comprehensive and effective hormone therapy program we use allows us to give our patients optimal results.
Within our program, we use three different types of medicine to ensure that every patient achieves success. These medications include the following:
Testosterone is used to increase and optimize testosterone levels. The dosage varies and is determined by the prescribing physician. Patients’ medical history, lab results, and physical are all factored in during diagnosis.
HCG is used to prevent testicular shrinkage and maintain natural production of testosterone within the testes.
An Estrogen Blocker is used to control the levels of estrogen within the body. Yes, men have estrogen as well, and some men have high levels naturally. Other men may see an increase after being placed on the program. Elevated estrogen levels can cause unwanted belly fat, breast fat, mood swings and loss of libido. Estrogen has a tendency to work against the male hormone. This is why at Royal Men’s Medical Center closely monitors estrogen levels to ensure they are kept low in our patients.
